West Donegal to Anywhere!

Commencing 7th November 2005, Bus Eireann in conjunction with McGeehan Coaches will together provide a much enhanced bus service for the people of West Donegal.

The result of this new agreement is that West Donegal passengers will be able to access all points on the Bus Eireann nationwide network.

West Donegal will now have a wide range of services available to and from Glencolmcille, Ardara, Glenties, and Dungloe linking into Donegal Town travelling north to Stranorlar, Letterkenny and Derry and south to Sligo, Knock Airport, Galway, Shannon Airport, Limerick, Cork, Tralee and Killarney.

Integrated ticketing, on line booking, the convenience of Busaras as the main hub for all arrivals and departures for passengers from Donegal, special add-on fares to connect at Busaras with Airlink 747 Airport Coach with a 10 minute frequency to and from Dublin International Airport.
All of these facilities will become the norm for passengers travelling to and from West Donegal.
